Windows 10 Xbox update includes 1080p/60fps streaming

What about Xbox gaming for mouse-and-keyboard diehards?

Well, if you’re an Xbox enthusiast like myself, you’ll be happy to know that this will no longer be an issue now that Windows 10 is finally here.

What do you exactly need to get this sorcery to work? What we learned is that they want more games. Latency can be slightly noticeable, but it’s not a deal-breaker for single-player games, and with a good enough router you can crank up image quality so it’s nearly like playing natively on the console. But some more dedicated gamers weren’t happy withstreaming at lower quality. The Xbox One focuses on launching games as quickly as possible, while the Windows 10app emphasizes your friends’ activity on Xbox Live. You can also compare achievements with any friend who has played the same game (on a Game Hub page, select Achievements, and then choose Compare in the top right). The newstreaming mode does eat up a huge amount of bandwidth, so users may want to use a wired connection to get the best results.

When Xfinity rolled out to Xbox 360 units in 2012, users flocked to the app since it was streaming videos outside the users’ data cap. Or are you still not buying into it? “We’re doing things that can’t be done on any other console”.

Once the latest version of the Windows 10 Xbox app is installed, launch it and head to Settings (the gear icon at the bottom of the sidebar on the right side of the window).

The company’s Xbox 360 backward compatibility feature will allow Xbox Live Gold members with an Xbox One to playmany of their 360 games on the current-gen console. This is now a possibility!

The only developer in question who mentioned both platforms for the game, Bobby Pavlock has updated his CV to reflect that the game is an Xbox One exclusive only. You can not stream your movies, music, and other content like Netflix obviously as this is truly meant for gaming.

I do have one small speculation to make on the matter – though it doesn’t seem highly likely under the light of the recent changes. There’s a ton of possibilities. It certainly gives an edge over Sony Corp.’s PlayStation 4, which now only gives you one free game each month through its PlayStation Plus membership program.
