More Details About Gears of War Creator's Next Game Coming This Week

[UPDATE] Boss Key continues to tease Project Bluestreak today with a new video titled "After The Shattering." Take a look at the 30-second video below and let us know what you think. More reveals are scheduled for tomorrow and Wednesday.

The original story is below.

New details about the next game from Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski are coming soon.

Bleszinski and his company, Boss Key, on Sunday launched anew teaser website for the free-to-play PC FPS, Project Bluestreak. The site is labeled "The Shattering," but Bleszinskisays on Twitter that it may not be the game's actual name.

Whatever the case, the website teases that more details about the shooter, which will be published by free-to-play giant Nexon America, will be announced at 12 Noon EDT / 9 AM PDT on August 24, 25, and 26.

"Trust me, folks--buckle up," Bleszinski said on Twitter. "I am so excited right now. :) :) :)"

The Shattering website also features an "Alpha Testers" tab, suggesting Boss Key will let people play the game early for the purposes of testing. You can also check out some new art, which features a world city destroyed by...something. Perhaps the mysterious "The Shattering" is to blame.

As previously announced, Project Bluestreak is set in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi world. Boss Key released the first pre-alpha footage for the game, which runs on Unreal Engine 4, during PAX East back in April.

For more on the game, you can check out some weapon concept art and read Bleszinski's thoughts about the free-to-play business model and how his new game won't be pay-to-win.

No release date for Project Bluestreak has been announced. For more, check out the interview below.
