Morana Runestone “The Witcher 3 New Game Plus” Glitch

The Morana Runestone glitch in The Witcher 3 New Game Plus allows players to burn, stun, and freeze enemies

CD Projekt Red (CDPR) released The Witcher 3 New Game Plus last month as the final DLC for the game. Like in every game, there are glitches in this game as well, and while it may seem amusing at times, it becomes annoying for gamers if the game does not play as it is intended.

Previously, a glitch in the game allowed players to kill high-level monsters in an instant without being injured or killed. Turns out, this glitch was not the only one. Another one has surfaced online, and it provides a 100% success rate when it comes to inflicting damage on the enemies.

This glitch works in a relatively simple way; the player needs to attach the Lesser Morana and Morana Runestone to any of the relic swords that Geralt possesses. Some examples of the swords are Carabella, Harvell and Forgotten Vran Sword, as all three contain a slot to place ruins and each has different specialties. The video below shows how to implement the Runestones and inflict damages on humans as well as monsters.

The Witcher 3 is one of the popular role-playing games out there. With the release of 16 free DLC packs and a new Game Plus Mode, fans have been ecstatic to play a game which sees timely updates and improvements by the developers with each release. The game has also been nominated for the best story at the Golden Joystick Awards, and is very likely to win, thanks to its immersive storyline.

With the latest Triss Merigold Romance Tweak and the two upcoming expansions titled Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine, The Witcher 3 is turning out to be a DLC galore for many fans, as they continuously receive free additions to the story.

The Witcher 3 is available on Sony Corp.’s (ADR) (NYSE:SNE) PlayStation 4, Microsoft Corporation’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Xbox One, and Windows PC.
