BioWare’s Dragon Age Inquisition: Trespasser Sets Stage For Dragon Age 4

Hints have been dropped by BioWare regarding Dragon Age 4 in the final DLC

Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:EA) has been very successful with BioWare’s "Dragon Age" franchise as the first game, as well as the third game, in the series have been a huge success. "Dragon Age: Inquisition" follows the story of the Inquisitor, who the player controls and also is incharge of, closing the rift that has been opened because of an act of evil. BioWare has excited the fans previously by releasing a DLC and further improving on the story of the game, along with adding new features.

The final DLC for the game has been termed as "Trespasser". It will be an epilogue of sorts, that would bring closure to the journey of the entire movement formed previously to deal with the DarkSpawn army, and in turn close the rifts that have been opened throughout the Kingdom of Feraldan and Orlais.

For the ones who have not completed the game, there are spoilers ahead so read at your own discretion.

Regardless of the choices made while playing the Trespasser DLC, the story ends as the Inquisitor is planning with a different bunch of allies to head down and track the elf that was responsible for the entire mess the Kingdom was in.

The group that is formed comes from the outskirts of Fereldan and Orlais, which are the two main regions in the Dragon Age world, and the story heavily focuses on them. In Trespasser, the final shot which can be seen is when the Inquisitor places his knife firmly in the map region where Tevinter Imperium lies. The area has not been explored in the game as much, but talked about a lot. So there are many chances where the Inquisitor may lead his allies to the said region in order to look for Solas.

During the end of credits of Dragon Age: Inquisition’s Trespasser DLC, Solas appears briefly and reveals his own true identity, which is the Dread Wolf. Previously a hint of this was shown during the end credits of the original Dragon Age: Inquisition, when Solas has a conversation with Flemmeth and kills her later on. This signifies that Solas does have a major part to play in the lore as of yet, and BioWare will expand upon it with "Dragon Age 4".

So far, no official statement has been given by Bioware or EA, but as the time progresses, it will be seen how the story plays out in the Dragon Age lore.

Trespasser DLC released on September 8, 2015 and is available on Sony Corp.’s (ADR) (NYSE:SNE) PlayStation 4, Microsoft Corporation’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Xbox One and Windows PC.
