Batman: Arkham Knight Sony PlayStation 4/Xbox One Gets An Unofficial Price Cut

Amazon reduces the price for Batman: Arkham Knight for a limited time

For the owners of Microsoft Corporation’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Xbox One and Sony Corp.’s (ADR) (NYSE:SNE) PlayStation 4, Batman: Arkham Knight has been nothing short of amazing. PC users haven’t had such luck when the game released initially, but the launch of an interim patch has improved the overall gaming experience on PC as well.

Recently, Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) started offering a deal that is too good to be turned down by those who have yet to purchase Batman: Arkham Knight. Amazon is offering Batman: Arkham Knight for $44.99 on Xbox One instead of the original price of $59.99. For PlayStation 4 users, the game is available for $41.95 instead of the regular $59.99. This is a really good deal, considering that Batman: Arkham Knight released only a couple of months ago.

As for PC gamers, there have not been any such deals yet. However, on the bright side, the PC version of the game has finally received its interim patch after being pulled away from Steam, bringing about much-needed changes to make the game playable on PC platform. Although some players did not feel any noticeable changes in the gameplay and faced frequent lags, reinstalling the game and applying the patch may solve some common problems being faced by the users.

Furthermore, Warner Bros. recently announced that it would be releasing four different DLC packs for September, each one containing new skins, levels, and bonus content. So far, what we know is that the upcoming DLC pack, Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #1, will include Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman. Further packs may include a story for Nightwing, Tumbler Batmobile, and more.
